Jokabet Selfie Verification: Photo Requirements
Completing the verification process is a mandatory step for all players at Jokabet casino before withdrawing funds. The selfie verification, a key part of this Know Your Customer (KYC) procedure, often causes confusion. This guide provides a clear, step-by-step walkthrough of the Jokabet selfie verification, detailing the exact photo requirements and how to avoid common rejection reasons to ensure a smooth and speedy approval.
Understanding the Purpose of Selfie Verification
Jokabet, like all licensed online casinos, is legally required to verify the identity of its users. This process protects both the platform and the player from fraud, money laundering, and underage gambling. The selfie verification specifically proves that the person submitting the identity documents is the legitimate owner of those documents and is physically present during the process. It is a crucial security layer that ensures your account and any potential Jokabet bonus winnings are secure.
Required Documents for Jokabet KYC
Before you even take a selfie, you must have your primary identification documents ready. The selfie is usually the final step, taken while holding one of these documents. You will need to provide clear photos of the following:
- A valid government-issued photo ID: Passport, National ID card, or Driver’s License.
- Proof of address: A recent utility bill (gas, electricity, water), bank statement, or official government letter dated within the last 3 months.
Ensure all four corners of each document are visible in the photos and that all text is clear and readable. Blurry or cropped images are the most common reason for delays.
Step-by-Step Guide to Taking the Perfect Verification Selfie
Follow these steps precisely to ensure your selfie is accepted on the first attempt. The entire process is typically done directly within your Jokabet account dashboard under a section like “Verification” or “Account Details”.
- Hold your prepared ID document (e.g., your passport photo page) in one hand. Make sure it is open to the correct page.
- Position yourself in a well-lit area. Natural light is best. Avoid shadows falling on your face or the document.
- Ensure your entire face and the entire document are clearly visible within the camera frame. Do not wear hats or sunglasses that obscure your features.
- The text on your ID must be legible. The customer support team needs to match the details on the ID to the details on your account and to your face.
- Take the photo. It must be a new, live photo. You cannot upload a pre-existing selfie from your gallery.
- Submit the photo through the secure Jokabet upload portal.
Common Reasons for Rejection and Troubleshooting
If your verification is delayed, it is likely due to one of the following issues. Addressing them will speed up your approval, getting you closer to withdrawing your winnings, whether from a deposit or a Jokabet no deposit offer.
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| Blurry or Unreadable Document | Retake the photo on a steady surface with better lighting. Ensure the camera lens is clean. |
| Cropped Photo (missing document corners) | Step back slightly to fit the entire document and your face in the frame. |
| Mismatched Information | Double-check that the name and address on your Jokabet account exactly match your official documents. |
| Old or Expired Document | Submit only valid, current identification. An expired driver’s license will not be accepted. |
| Incorrect File Format/Size | Use the accepted formats (usually JPG, PNG) and ensure the file is not too large. |
What to Expect After Submission
Once you submit all required documents, including your selfie, the Jokabet verification team will review them. Standard processing times range from a few hours to a maximum of 72 hours. You will receive a notification via email or directly in your account once the process is complete. If there is an issue, they will specify what needs to be corrected. After successful verification, all account limits are lifted, and you can process withdrawals without hindrance. This also ensures you are fully eligible to claim future promotions, such as a Jokabet free spins bundle or a special Jokabet promo code offer.
